    Classic Puppy Chow Snack Recipe (For Humans!)

    Crunchy, chocolatey, peanut buttery goodness coated in powdered sugar.

    Ingredients

    • 9 cups Rice Chex cereal
    • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
    • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
    • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

    Instructions

    1. Measure out the 9 cups of Rice Chex into a large bowl.
    2. In a microwave-safe bowl, add:
      • 1 cup chocolate chips
      • 1/2 cup peanut butter
      • 1/4 cup butter
    3. Microwave for about 1 minute, stir, and microwave another 30 seconds if needed until smooth.
    4. Stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
    5. Pour the chocolate mixture over the Rice Chex cereal. Gently stir and fold until everything is coated evenly.
    6. Add 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar to a large zip-top bag, then add the cereal mixture.
    7. Seal and shake the bag until all the cereal is coated in powdered sugar.
    8. Spread out on wax or parchment paper to cool.
    9. Store in an airtight container or portion into small bags/cups for easy sharing!
