Dedication Plans Finalized - NACA Memorial Wall and Gardens
Nancy Hill, NACA Board of Directors

Respect, Recognition and Compassion.

The dedication of the National Animal Control Association (NACA) Memorial Wall and Gardens has been set for Saturday, October 1, 2011 at the NACA Corporate Office in Olathe, Kansas (a suburb of Kansas City).

The NACA Memorial Wall and Gardens is a permanent display/tribute to remember and honor NACA members employed as animal control officers that have died in the line of duty. The wall will display the names of these fallen animal control officers. The gardens will serve as a backdrop for the wall providing a serene and private area to reflect on the loss of these fallen members and to honor their memory.

The event will start with an evening reception open house on Friday - September 30, 2011 from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the Crowne Plaza Kansas City - Overland Park, 12601 West 95th Street, Lenexa, Kansas. The dedication ceremony will be on Saturday - October 1, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the NACA Corporate Office, 101 N. Church Street, Olathe, Kansas. The dedication will include the ceremonial reading of the names.

Please mark your calendars and plan on attending the reception and dedication ceremony. Our hope is that animal control professionals representing all fifty states and those from other national organizations will be in attendance to honor our fallen animal control officers that have lost their lives in the line of duty.

Animal control officers provide professional animal protection and control services that are invaluable to communities across the nation. Please join the NACA Corporate Office and Board of Directors in honoring our fallen brothers/sisters and in recognizing the work that ACO's across the country do everyday.
