ASPCA ID ME Animal Tagging Program Grant

In recognition of the valuable work of NACA, The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has graciously offered a grant to the National Animal Control Association of $150,000.00 for the Implementation of ID ME Animal Tagging Programs in 25 Municipal/County Animal Care and Control Agencies.

A NACA committee had been established to review all grant applications and to determine the grant recipients. The committee met recently and voted to grant 25 organizations an amount of $6,000.00. The purpose of this grant is to cover the cost of an engraver machine, ID tags and collars to participate in the ASPCA ID ME project.

NACA did not retain any of the grant monies donated by the ASPCA, and NACA will absorb all administrative costs related to the grant requirements.
